I chose an absolutely perfect day to do this 11.5 mile walk; it was sunny and warm – about 22 degrees. I'd been staying at the Didcot Premier Inn for the previous 2 nights, so was able to get an early start. I drove to Cholsey station and parked there. This section takes in Moulsford, Streatley, Goring, Whitchurch and Mapledurham, finishing at Tilehurst station. As such, the walk is ideally suited to a solo walker since the start and end are just 2 stops apart on the train.

 

Of all the Thames Path walks I did in 2021, this particular one was definitely in the top 3.
